Ingrid is a food-loving dietitian, runner, gardener, terrible musician and by her own admission is completely owned by her 1-year-old border collie, Kobe. She was born in Darwin, raised in Sydney and studied Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Newcastle.  After completing her degree with a year-long regional placement in Coffs Harbour, she’s refused to leave!

  1. What do you love most about your job/industry?

I love that dietetics is constantly developing as we discover the many ways in which what and how we eat impacts our wellbeing. As a dietitian I have the privilege of working with clients to discover how we can use the food they eat every day to support their best health. With all of the opinions and changing advice around ‘dieting’, it brings me joy to offer individualised, evidence-based nutritional care.

  1. Areas of interest?

I have lived with coeliac disease for about 15 years, so I have plenty of first-hand experience to offer there. I’m also interested in preventative health, mental health, diabetes, gastro-intestinal disorders, and a holistic approach to care.
