With the silly season now upon us, it’s time to spread some cheer to stay sane and injury-free through what is a hectic period for all of us. At Mid North Coast Physio we have had Santa arrive early and delivered us FOUR new staff members to bolster the team and ensure we can provide the best care for you through the Christmas period and into 2015.
We have had Sam Dixon join us to fill the hole left by Inge Koevoet, who has taken up a new opportunity in Brisbane. Sam is an English physio who has extensive background in private physio practice, most recently in a well-regarded clinic in Goulburn, and has a strong interest in back pain, sports injuries and lower limb mechanics. He already loves the coastal lifestyle and is revelling in the recent poor results for the Wallabies!
As if the Christmas period isn’t crazy enough – spare a thought for Kristy, our Pilates instructor extraordinaire, who is heavily pregnant with her first bub! We all wish her well with the impending arrival. The good news for all our loyal Pilates attendees is that we have secured the services of Alexandra Bruggisser to continue our Pilates programs. Alex will be a familiar face to many, having been in our Woolgoolga clinic in recent months finishing her Masters of Exercise Physiology placement to finalise her university degree. She is a local girl from Coramba who brings a wide range of skills from her multiple degrees, strong sporting background and friendly, down to earth approach to health. Alex will kick off Pilates in both Woolgoolga and Urunga in early January, as well as overseeing hydrotherapy in our indoor heated pool in Woolgoolga throughout the New Year.
Due to continued growth and demand, we have now recruited two new remedial massage therapists to our ever growing team to increase the availability of massage in our Woolgoolga and Urunga clinics. Jude Haines has come on board in Woolgoolga, having returned to the area where she grew up and went to school. She has been running her own highly successful massage business on the Gold Coast for a number of years but the lure of a return home with her husband and son was too much to resist any longer. Riana Begg has now started in Urunga to provide high quality therapeutic massage after relocating from the South Coast for a lifestyle change for her and her son. She is also a very experienced yoga teacher, something we hope to utilise in the New Year for the benefit of our Urunga clients.
It’s our turn to play Santa and celebrate the expansion of our massage services! From December 1st until the 12th we are offering a special deal on massage gift vouchers. If you buy two 1hr massage gift vouchers we will give you a 3rd FREE. Alternatively, buy one 1hr massage gift voucher and you will receive a 30min massage FREE. Be quick before this offer ends and get yourself a massage by simply buying for someone else – Christmas really is about giving more than receiving! Call us on 1300 273747 to get your gift vouchers now.
